English Wikipedia 2015-04 for GoldenDict [Index file]

The only problem is that the file weights 48Gb and the index is extremely large. Indeed, it is necessary at least 8gb of RAM for creating the index. It is impossible to create the index for the English Wikipedia with an old pc with less than 8GB of RAM.

You may have a try if you currently have no 8GB computer at hand
1) use goldendict to index the en wiki
2) kill the process
3) locate the unfinished empty index file name A, the file size is 0 bytes

GoldenDict creates its own index every time that a dictionary is "added". The index files are stored at the configuration folder of GoldenDict.
The configuration folder is available from the menu in GoldenDict> MENU> HELP> CONFIGURATION FOLDER> INDEX
The Pre-indexed ZIM + Kiwix for Windows does not works with GoldenDIct. The so-called "pre-indexed ZIM" is exclusively made for a software called KIWIX which is the official reader for .zim files. 是个什么样子，什么界面啊？？？ It took me nearly 20 hours to download the file, but unfortunately, Kiwix updated it to 2015-5 and I don't want to waste the time again.
