词典的时代性

今天查play，名词，地质矿产中表示“矿藏”或“矿产富集区”，结果英英词典中，仅有AHD5有下面的解释：
A geological deposit, as of oil or natural gas, considered as a prospect for commercial extraction.
看来，AHD5的确权威和紧跟时代啊。
