终于还是买了，来镇宅顺便转转运。
翻了几页，还是非常惊喜的。暂未入手，想查看指定词条的朋友可以跟帖，我可以拍拍照。

吐槽下外研社的宣传推广，正式出版一个多月了，豆瓣页面都没人主动建一个。样张也吝啬得很，天猫上这张完全体现不出《新世纪英汉大词典》的创新、优势——如义项提示词或短语，删减词源、例句等倒是二话不说。

比牛津词典的网上的英汉词典详细好多啊，感觉两者风格有点接近

对比了几个词，发现这本词典还是挺良心的，兼具 esl 和 non-esl 词典的优点，翻译也很好。与陆谷孙的词典有一拼。用这两本分别查outstanding一词，发现还是这本更加 user-friendly。 确实是一部很好的词典，简单对比了一下，比Collins English Dictionary多了不少例证，比COBUILD系列词汇量大。希望早日有官方完整的电子版推出，而不是跟海词合作一个残疾版了事，价格合理的话不愁销路的。 昨天还在看广告，今天就入手，O大风范。就是纸张有点薄。 本帖最后由 elusty 于 2016-2-21 23:43 编辑

1）感觉outstanding解释全面，例证多；
2）circumvent/circumvention没有“欺骗”和“设计陷害”的解释，大概现在不太用了吧。ODE和SOED有这个解释。
目前看，值得购买。

今天看一个资料，始终不确定non-circumvention翻译成什么好，所以想看看这个新词典：
A non-circumvention agreement, also referred to as a non-circumvent agreement, represents a legal document exchanged between two persons or two organizations who want to share some information that may be confidential for the purpose of entering into a business relationship, according USlegal.com. This agreement blocks the parties from going directly to each other's supplier or customer with the intent to "bypass" or circumvent the other party upon learning the name of each other's partners.

切勿浮躁说什么没硬伤之类的诳语，已经发现几处
细心的网友已经可以看出样张图片里的问题。事实上，翻译没问题的词典，几乎是不存在的。
就我最近的观察来说，词典的人名、地名收录原则有点问题，收了Jackon, Michael(Joe),未收Cable, William Clark, 该词典似乎特别“歧视”日本，比如未收Katsushika Hokusai和Kawabata Yasumari, Kanto和Kansai也跟着“视而不见”。
