redemption的一个意项英汉词典有，但英英词典没查到，那么出处何来？

今天碰到redemption的一个意思，在几部有MDX的英汉中均查到了(诺言、义务的)履行这个含义，而正好这个含义就符合我看到的那个场景，但奇怪的是所有的英英词典都没有这个意项，那么这个英汉中的意项从何而来？

刚才又查了下卡西欧中的英汉大词典第二版，也有这个意项，还给出了一个例证the redemption of a pledge

新世纪英汉大词典也有该意项 提示词给出的是fulfillment + of promise，这还真是个比较奇怪的事

是有点奇怪，柯林斯英英也没这个义项。webster unabridged 最后一个义项提了 obligation：the regaining of property by satisfaction of an obligation; specifically : the process of regaining absolute legal title by annulling a defeasible title
