其实,规定语法犹如法律、法规和社会道德规范,主要是规范和引导作用,但是并不能说不存在违反上述规定的行为,只是这些行为不法、不好、或不为多数人接受罢了。
不符合规定的,也不一定有多大罪过。
所谓,没有规矩不成方圆。
我还是倾向于规定性语法,但是规定性语法也不应该是死的,应该适当适应社会发展变化。

Many students are taught, and one guide maintains, that English sentences should not start with conjunctions such as "and", "but", "because", and "so". Some hypothesize that teachers invented this "rule" to encourage students to avoid overly simple sentences. This superstition has "no historical or grammatical foundation".

Well, he could hardly help keeping the first two injunctions; naturally his eyes were sharply watchful at such a time, nor was he likely to forget anything which might come under his notice in this objectionable way.

From: In the Golden Days by Ada Ellen Bayly (1857-1903)

Many books claim that "anything" should be followed by "that" instead of "which". In fact, this rule does not hold water.

Grammar is very very important.Without it, you are surely to make mistakes one after another, even for those whose mother tongue is English.
