请教英语中 “完全不及物动词”有哪些？
请各位大神指点，最好举例说明，谢谢了。{:11_400:} 本帖最后由 loveaffairs 于 2018-6-9 12:20 编辑英文中纯非及物动词很有限，如ache, appear, arrive, come, cough, cry, disappear, exist, fall, go, sleep, stand等，另外还可以把联系动词be, become等看成非及物动词。
很多时候，语义的复杂性和使用的灵活性和发展性，会让绝大多数主要不及物的动词用作及物东西。楼上坛友列举的动词中，大部分其实都是可以做及物动词的，而且不属于生僻用法。
agree: If they had agreed a price the deal would have gone through. (ODE 3rd ed.)
work: With a dash of blusher here and there, you can work miracles. (ODE 3rd ed.)
succeed: He would succeed Hawke as Prime Minister. (ODE 3rd ed.)
sail: Plastic ships could be sailing the oceans soon. (ODE 3rd ed.)
sit: I sat the baby on my lap. (ODE 3rd ed.)
fail: A player has failed a drugs test. (ODE 3rd ed.)
