从take off 看几个常见英汉大词典义项收录全面性
本帖最后由 公牛 于 2018-9-29 14:09 编辑最近看美剧，有两个黑人对话，take off a supermarket，单词很简单，翻译的怎么看怎么觉得别扭。
翻了翻手头几部词典，
新世纪和新牛津的词条义项都很少，没有符合的
英汉大的义项很多，洋洋洒洒20多个，抢劫这个义项比较符合
21世纪大英汉词典给力，直接找到了原文，再联系剧情，可以确定take off在美国黑人俚语中有抢劫的意思。
其实从这几部词典的风格很容易对比出，英汉大和21大英汉偏向收集，尤其21大英汉注重俚语、古语、科技词汇等义项的收录。
新牛津和新世纪则列出最为常见的义项，新牛津偏向双解，新世纪带有少量关键英语解释。

很多紐澳用語，美國所有的詞典也是沒有。 这五个大块头并排站着太震撼了。。。
