interest的含义与翻译

Of specific interest to this book is the 1003.1 operating system interface standard, whose goal is to promote the portability of applications among various UNIX System environments.
我查了一下 interest 的含义，貌似没有能直接将interest含义体现出来的义项。不太懂这个单词的用法。
是否可以将原文转成：
This book has a specific interest in the 1003.1 operating system interface standard.
中文版书中翻译如下（同济大学 张亚英 教授翻译的）：
与本书相关的是1003.1操作系统接口标准，该标准的目的是提升应用程序在各种UNIX系统环境之间的可移植性。

这是一个倒装句，系表结构，正常语序是：
The 1003.1 operating system interface standard is of specific interest to this book, whose goal is to promote the portability of applications among various UNIX System environments.
of interest起形容词作用，表示“有利益的”；“有益的”， 有价值的，重要的。
来自dictionary.com 第四条4 concern; importance:
a matter of primary interest
来自韦氏大学词典第5条 a : a feeling that accompanies or causes special attention to an object or class of objects : concern
相当于concern理解了吧 4A stake or involvement in an undertaking, especially a financial one: 等于involvement 关联 涉及
holders of voting rights must disclose their interests
he must have no personal interest in the outcome of the case...
其实根据上下文也大致理解了吧 同一concern, 我在翻译过程中也遇到过of interest，多翻译成具有某种目的指向的意思，也即本书的目的，本书相关的……，嗯 应该没错{:4_105:} 这个问题因为有个先入为主的“兴趣、感兴趣”的义项，初看起来会有点懵。
感谢各位答疑解惑，同意楼上几位的观点，翻译成concern最贴切：有关的。
more interest, less interests。 少一点功利主义，多一点不为什么的追求。 考研的朱伟经常说这个句子吧。
