这里两个解释真的混起来了，不知道“到达结婚年龄”是怎么分的，难道一个是到了法定允许结婚的年龄，另一个是到了社会上认为应该结婚的年龄？这是从哪抄出来的？ 英汉大词典啊……

这还真怨不了英汉辞典，你看Webster's New World College Dictionary:
1. old enough to get married;
2.suitable for marriage
瞧瞧，一一对应，不要太忠实。
那么更近一步，请看Random House Webster's College Dictionary:
suitable, as in age, for marriage
这条释义点出了marriageble重点在年龄，也就是咱们所说的“适婚年龄”，《建宏E世代英汉辞典》就是这么翻的嘛！
再看Collins Cobuild English Dictionary(第二版）：
If you describe someone as marriageable, especially that they are the right age to marry; an old fashioned word.
这个解释再清楚没有。
