请问这里冒号后的that是否可以省略？

规范书面用法中不能省，因为书面表达不像口语可以通过语气、停顿、和手势等paralanguage来表明第二个that之后的小句跟前面内容是什么关系，所以只能借助that来表明这个小句是前文中a point的同位语成份。
