Jesus' crucifixion 还是 Jesus's

第一句用了 Jesus’s crucifixion， 但倒数第三行又用了 Jesus’ suffering

到底哪个是正确的呢？还是都对？

When you follow the rules of The Associated Press Stylebook, Jesus’ is proper. With all other style guides, Jesus’s is correct.

Jesus’
The Associated Press Stylebook has rules that state any plural noun, including names that end with an S, only get an apostrophe to symbolize possession. If you are required to follow AP style in your writing, this is the correct way.

In school, we are taught that Jesus’ is the proper way to write about something that belongs to Jesus. However, language is always developing and making changes, which is why this form isn’t used as often as it used to be.

是因为后面suffering又是s开头的，jesus's的s就省略了吧。我猜的
