Now the World Health Organization is asking for your help to rename monkeypox. It said the current name encourages harmful stigma. Though* the symptoms of the virus include a fever and a rash that forms blisters, it's disproportionately infecting men who're having sex with men. Our Europe Regional Editor Paul Mars told us how monkeypox originally got its name.
What happened was there were a bunch of laboratory monkeys in Denmark, and scientists there identified the virus in those monkeys and, somehow the name stuck - which really is unfair because lots of animals are far worse spreaders of this virus; in fact the worst spreaders are of rodents, so if you really wanted to pin the virus on an animal, much better to have let monkeys out of it. You could have called it Ratpox, or maybe Mousepox.

实际上这两处说得非常快，几乎都没发音。
仅供参考，
这样的节目我相信大部分人都能听出个大概。但是不是真的完全听懂了，听写是最好的验证。往往是听写了才知道实际上之前最多听了个大意而已。
