关于crutch(ed)
21世纪crutch动词 用丁字形拐杖支撑，我查了OED，居然只有比喻意义上的支持，好像没有字面意思的。还有crutched 拄着丁字形拐杖的，好像也没人用这个意思。 和十字架有关的crutched好像是从crouch来的，和crutch关系比较间接，虽然同源。 本帖最后由 shiruxue 于 2023-1-5 14:59 编辑

我知道有些词典这么写，但我真没看到这么用的，常见的就是crutched friar，OED中动词三个例句都不是字面意思：
transitive. To support as with a crutch or crutches, to prop.
