还有哪些词典如wordmyth的例句有极强的语境或情境，极大帮助阐明单词的释义。对于很多抽象词汇来说，ESL词典基本上都解释不清楚，有偏差，而母语词典的释义有时通过同样难度的抽象词来相互解释，或者解释的也很难理解。在不看中文释义的情况下，只能通过大量的情境来帮助理解。
incidentlly, 我个人觉得其实很多中文的抽象词仅仅通过词典的释义其实也很难理解，就像骄傲，傲慢，高傲，孤高，骄横，清高，高冷，高兴，喜悦，愉悦，欢快，欢喜，这些其实你让我解释我也解释不出来，这些都是在生活阅读的情境中理解的，各种情境中遇到的多了，大概心里就明白这个词的本质内涵和外延了，甚至碰到新的情境也就会运用了。
当然这种明白的本质内涵和外延，往往是一种模糊的感觉，我觉得这可能就是很多人说的语感，比如grand, magnificent, imposing, stately, majestic，这些词让我解释，我也解释不出来。
但是我心里有感觉，一提到这些词，就能想到这些词的模糊的情境，碰到情境也知道用。
很多词典的例句的语境与单词的释义联系并不紧密。
而wordmyth的例句可以看出是精心挑选或创作的。它们的语境极强，非常能帮助学习者理解词义。
如：prej·u·dice
He was surprised to see the high level of technology being used and produced in these countries as his prejudice had been that these were backward nations.
如e·bul·lient：
The crowd gave an ebullient cheer.
The ebullient personality of Theodore Roosevelt made him a popular president.
After learning of her promotion, she was in an ebullient mood.
如：pride
Though they were poor, they had pride, and nothing could make them feel ashamed.
Her recent triumphs in gymnastics filled her with pride.
如：arrogantThese wealthy and arrogant foreigners had lived in the country for years without attempting to learn a word of the native language.
Tyrants are arrogant at a level beyond most other humans.

柯林斯高阶的full sentence definition最大程度上整合了词语使用的语境信息，你还需要什么样的词典提供语境信息来阐明词义？

多做做什么GRE填空类比反义，这种词汇关系根本就不叫事儿

而且我去wordmyth网站上看了一下，例句也没有特别精妙啊：

His pride alienated him from those who might have been his friends.

这句里面的pride 能不能（错误地）理解成「暴脾气」？好像可以啊

She is the pride of her family.

这句里面的pride 能不能（错误地）理解成「耻辱」？反正上下文没拦着你啊

牛津高阶反倒不会产生这种事情：

The new sports stadium is the pride of the town. 新体育场是这个城市的骄傲。

体育场按我们的百科知识怎么也不会是耻辱，肯定就是骄傲啊城市名片啦

很多抽象词汇只读词典释义的话经常不知道这个词表达的nuance, connotation, 或者这个词适用的场景，而理解这些需要构筑的情境。
我说的语境是指一种构造出的情境。科林斯高阶的整句释义并没有语境，只是给了一下搭配用法，很多抽象词汇ESL词典的解释相比母语词典偏差很大，科林斯也不例外。

当然这词典不是每个例句都能很好的构造情境。
pride他头两个例句是
Though they were poor, they had pride, and nothing could make them feel ashamed.
Her recent triumphs in gymnastics filled her with pride.
这两个例句有很好的情境，当然牛津高阶的这个例句也不错，但他大多数例句都是小短句，并不能构造情境。
举个例子，我随便联想pride想到的arrogant，
arrogant的牛津高阶例句：
• He was a rude, arrogant young man.
• She wanted to laugh in his arrogant face.
• The chief inspector disliked his arrogant manner.
而wordsmyth的例句：
These wealthy and arrogant foreigners had lived in the country for years without attempting to learn a word of the native language.
Tyrants are arrogant at a level beyond most other humans.
