原来《纽约时报》自从 1986 年 6 月 20 日开始,就已经放开允许使用 Ms. 这个称呼了,以前都必须问清楚女性被访者是 Mrs. 还是 Miss. 所以牛高 9 开始就把 refuse 改成了过去式 refused。, r# S3 v( f$ l
