graphic的这个意思很少非学习词典收录
本帖最后由 Littlebush 于 2016-4-20 22:30 编辑在新闻中，往往提到一些血腥、恐怖或者赤裸裸的性有关的内容或画面时，往往会提示viewer：the following contains graphic images or videos，但奇怪的是，很少有非ESL词典单独提出来这个意项，有的在描写生动的这种意项下给出了几个例子倒还勉强可以理解出这个意思，有的干脆例子也不给，在生动的下面给出的是诸如graphic account这样的解释，这根本不足以理解到画面、视频或描述可能会带来不适unpleasant这样的含义，相反，几部高阶词典均给出了unpleasant这样的含义，我比较好奇的是如果一个English native speaker不看高阶能从那些母语使用者词典诸如merriam collegiate中理解到那种unpleasant的含义吗？这个用法在新闻中使用得非常非常频繁，几乎一到这种时候就会有这个graphic的提示，我第一次遇到大概是ISIS对人质进行beheading的那个新闻 柯林斯的第一义就有啊

大多数母语词典，名词都不标注可数不可数，大概是同一原因吧。根据上下文，他们直接就知道相关的语用信息。
