看到一个 a+复数 的句子，有点不解
will be taking an incredible three and a half strideS per second这句使用了一个a+复数名词的形式。请问应该怎么理解呢？

不定冠词A(N) 一般至于单数可数名词连用，但是有时候是可以与复数可数名词连用的。

形式：a(n) + adjective + number + plural nouns
意义：这种用法多多少少有强调、惊叹的意思。强调、惊叹的意思表现在那个形容词上面，而强调、惊叹的原因是那个数字。
【注：a good twenty/three... 中的good是个强调词(又如 a good many... 参见nice), 与上列其他的例子又有所不同，因此其后的名词前面仍可以有形容词，这个形容词才对应于上述“强调、惊叹的意思”所表现在的“那个形容词” ， 例如上举‘’hefty‘’.】
这种用法虽说是“例外”，但也不算很罕见。
