语言是如此复杂,以至于几乎每一条语法“规则”都有例外, 或者说简单的规则都有例外。7 \1 s0 W* ~# x5 w

不定冠词A(N) 一般至于单数可数名词连用,但是有时候是可以与复数可数名词连用的。

I'm a good twenty years younger than my wife. [ MY DREAM, oh God bless me]

6 x6 \ C0 b" C1 L6 d- U" Z6 [# b9 [2 ^
形式:a(n) + adjective + number + plural nouns" q4 J. u' n7 x4 Z5 V1 y
意义:这种用法多多少少有强调、惊叹的意思。强调、惊叹的意思表现在那个形容词上面,而强调、惊叹的原因是那个数字。
" i9 i" x8 K+ c6 X
Y. ?; X3 _& |. h【注:a good twenty/three... 中的good是个强调词(又如 a good many... 参见nice), 与上列其他的例子又有所不同,因此其后的名词前面仍可以有形容词,这个形容词才对应于上述“强调、惊叹的意思”所表现在的“那个形容词” , 例如上举‘’hefty‘’.】

这种用法虽说是“例外”,但也不算很罕见。, U/ Y5 p, k: X3 W; D
