语言是如此复杂,以至于几乎每一条语法“规则”都有例外, 或者说简单的规则都有例外。 D2 y1 d& f4 n
$ b/ E9 d, _: N4 l! M
8 b( t! B# G( t9 ~不定冠词A(N) 一般至于单数可数名词连用,但是有时候是可以与复数可数名词连用的。

形式:a(n) + adjective + number + plural nouns
" j4 ?. L6 w$ [. l9 |8 f" P r意义:这种用法多多少少有强调、惊叹的意思。强调、惊叹的意思表现在那个形容词上面,而强调、惊叹的原因是那个数字。9 ?! A4 s9 @+ x8 t
& q: r& J r% z _1 {! C【注:a good twenty/three... 中的good是个强调词(又如 a good many... 参见nice), 与上列其他的例子又有所不同,因此其后的名词前面仍可以有形容词,这个形容词才对应于上述“强调、惊叹的意思”所表现在的“那个形容词” , 例如上举‘’hefty‘’.】

Incidently, I'm afraid that there is a mistake in one of the sentences in the picture: the 'unawares' should have been 'unaware'.
