影视台词 听,猜,查 -- stay away from that ...

偶看一剧，听到一句台词：
stay away from that desperate (thought).
仅有中文字幕：远离那个饥渴的荡妇。
我返回再听，一遍，一遍，又一遍。我听出来的还是 thought 这个音， 但这个词放在这里说不通。我猜想可能是 slut.
Stay away from that desperate slut.
Great! 义通，音近 -- 的确, 很多老外因诸多原因把一个音读成近似音, 虽然把简单的 /s/ 读成 复杂的 /th/ 音 很值得怀疑。
幸运的是，接下来剧中人自己把这个词拼写出了： thot.thirsty ho over there.
google it. Both urban dictionary and dictionary.com has it. Dictionary.com tells us that thot is an acronym (首字母缩写词).The meaning? that ho over three.
(注：美音中，thot, thought 是同音字-- homophone. 又如： bot, bought; cot, caught, etc）

对不起，上面点评没看清。我以为你说 whore 跟 thought 发音不同。故拷贝原文以说明我是说 slut 和 thought 音近。等到看清时，却没法修改点评了。

whore 和 thought 发音正常情形下发音还是很大的。
