疫情时期是否生二胎的问题
作者打算在疫情时期先不怀孕了。请问 grieve losses 这句是什么意思啊？

这句子有什么难的呢？不知缘何开贴？{:4_105:}
Thousands upon thousands（主语） mourn（谓） family and friends（宾） lost to COVID-19（定）,
or grieve（谓） losses（宾） unrelated to the virus（定） but for which the comfort taken in normal rituals is not an option（这个嘛，就不分析了，哈哈哈）.
mourn family and friends 和grieve losses是由or连接起来的平行结构
不知道楼主的问题到底在哪里？{:4_105:}

另，losses也并不必然就是指 亲人离去。词义应该在 1，3之间来选

第一段的losses 指的就是死人的事。2楼的理解没错
第二段的loss 指的是疫情时期 家庭生活的缺失。
