前有do,后省to. has done little but show
个人理解，这是but作为介词（常组成little but...，nothing but...等词组），后面跟不带to的不定式（bare infinitive）作宾语的用法（used with an infinitive as the object）。也就是说，show是but的宾语，而不是has的宾语，所以不用过去分词。
用例比如：
ODE里but（prep.）条： too shock to do anything else but ...
Webster's New World College Dictionary, but条例句: we cannot choose but (to) stay
