请问这里that是定语从句的引导词吗？这句句子为什么看上去那么怪？相当于…from whose revenue revenue of every other order is ultimately derived吗？ 把后半句替代调整一下应该更好理解，that (the revenue) of every other order is ultimately derived from whose (the revenue of a civilized society)，两个代词用括号里的代替一下 iwiki 发表于 2021-9-1 20:31

如果说derived前后成分性质要一致的话，即两个order的对比，那么whose可以指代它前面的orders of every civilized society，后面说的 every other other可能是指uncivilized society了，你对照上下文看看意思能不能说得通{:11_379:} iwiki 发表于 2021-9-1 20:44

from whose revenue that of every other order is ultimately derived=the revenueof every other order is ultimately derived from the three…orders' revenue，whose指代“ the three…orders ”，that代替revenue，只是为了避免重复。
that(the revenue)of every other order是所有格结构，“from whose revenue that of every other order is ultimately derived."是定语从句，修饰前面的“orders”。
