这句话有错误吗？

She renewed her promise to come see me.
她再一次答应要来看我。
我英语语法基本为0，但是以前听过赖世雄讲的语法广播，刚好记得他说过两个动词是不能连接在一起的（其他的内容几乎全忘记了）。这里不是把两个动词come see连接在一起了么？这用法对吗？
我搜索这句话，发现Google显示下面的结果，但是点进去后找不到这句话，是不是因为发现错了给删掉了？

come see是come and see的省略用法，表达前后两个动词的动作同时发生，美式口语中常用，go也有同样用法。
例：We can't wait to come see you.
We're going to go see Robin.
汉语中也有类似情况。
例：我马上把文件发你。
这个“发你”就是“发给你”的省略，口语中这样说是没问题的，但书面语中就不能这样用。 首先，没错误！
come to do something 口语通常用 come and do something，更进一步地，尤其是在美语里，会省略掉 and , 这就变成了 come do something... 也就是你例句里的那种情况。
