prest = pressed
prest: (archaic) simple past tense and past participle of press.
paraphrase:
"Lo! Some that we loved as the best that time and fate could produce have already drunk their cup and now lie at rest."
解读：
The best of humanity is likened to a good wine Vintage; their lives are likened to drinking a cup of wine before they creep off to Rest (die).
FitzGerald’s phrase “some we loved, the loveliest and the best” recalls the poignant events surrounding the composer Berlioz and the re-burial of his two wives.

The two dead women lie there now in peace, awaiting the time when I shall bring my own share of corruption to the same charnel-house.

their Vintage中的their是谁啊？ creep off to Rest (die).
配图跟这个解释的意境完全相符啊 "time and fate of all their vintage" is prest，针对所有的最好时期的“time and fate”进行压制或酿制。

some we loved 和 the loveliest and the best 应该不是同位语关系吧？
我觉得应该是 Time and Fate prest(=produced) the lovelist and the best out of Their grapes.
Their指代的是拟人了的Time and Fate
