1 P% L9 S0 H/ O* F9 U在mdx版的Webster's Third New International Dictionary of the English Language, Unabridged, 2003 中,发现一小小失误。

显然这一例句中的sand 错了一个字母而引起费解,韦氏在线已经没有这一例句。根据逻辑推断,应该为8 k1 E2 H7 v% G$ V* L
sank, “the tank fired, and the bridge and many hopes sank” (坦克开火了,桥和许多希望同时下沉了;或:桥毁了,许多希望也破灭了).8 d: Y: a. b" \ l% G% ~' W
mdx 词典中错把sank打成 sand了。
