大概，《道德经》中"道可道非常道"之类的便属这种情况吧，虽然字都认识，但是真正解释清除比较麻烦。

的确，个人认为，美式英语对gnomic的解释为褒义，基本意思是含格言的，精炼的；英式英语，偶尔含贬义，含有模糊不清，言语故意高深莫测，使之神秘，有炫耀嫌疑。
