hoist的过去式/过去分词有没有hoist这种原形形式？

% R8 Q1 A, x* m4 A" R" e) P几乎词典标注的过去式/过去分词形式都是hoisted，并没有hoist这种原形形式，但是MW的一个例句却是原形形式，但MW自己在标注inflection的时候只标注了hoisted，a politician who has been hoist by his own petard。我知道hoist by one's own petard是个idiom，但这个和时候idiom没啥关系。

在be hoist by/with one's own petard这条习语里，hoist本身已是过去分词，其原型是hoise。

9 R* X" [0 F/ g9 j$ c+ N多谢指点，原来如此啊。刚才又查询了一下，be hoisted by 也有人用，该条习语应该完整的给出be hoist(ed) with/by your own petard就对了（刚才看到剑桥高阶就是这么给的），而很多词典没有给出完全的形式，甚至有些前面都不加be，非常容易误导。

- b3 b$ N5 J3 R. t这个习语我以前见过，中国驻美大使崔天凯有一次批美国的时候用过，当时没注意到这么多细节，今天写个东西想起用这个idiom，结果才有这困惑。这个习语如果按照剑桥高阶给出的形式，结合wiki的注解就perfect了。想拥有一部perfect reference真的好难，太浪费时间精力了，English reference的编纂任重道远啊。BTW ,这个除了with和by外，还有on也可以，但似乎on很少见。
