- e( ~4 L. i9 a2 {I must admit I was a bit surprised that such abbreviation could appear in a piece of writing that is supposed to be formal. The English language is deteriorating for sure, so is journalism nowadays. Everything is becoming fastfood-ish.

Be that as it may, I would suggest that we as learners should stick to our ground and try our best o use formal and proper English; the least of that are spellings and punctuation marks.
