这句话前半段 “有关突尼斯的迷思……” 和后半段 “愤怒加剧了本阿里权力的被剥夺” 能分别看懂，但中间 “the further” 是什么意思呢？
3 r- l- J+ t% d4 e" _crumble可能是及物或不及物，不过前半句来看，似乎crumble的是myths，而不是myths把什么东西给crumble了。+ M% s& Y" `" _5 F$ Q
后半句来看，drives似乎是one的谓语动词。所以整个句子看起来，我推测 “the further” 有可能是作为连词，也可能是作为 “one drives from ...” 定语从句的中心词；
) ] w6 C a6 q8 o6 V不过查了一些词典，都没有发现这两种用法之一，而且无论哪种解释都弄不明白句子的意思…… 难不成是one的形容词？也解释不太通啊……( R4 C; ^* j& ~

搜了好久，结果发现另一个结构相似的句子：“Earlier this month, Mr. Trump began promoting Trump the Game, a board game in which players finish off rivals with the words ''You're Fired.'' Several trademark lawyers said the chance for confusion or infringement diminishes the further one gets from a similarly sounding title.”

& ?7 f- _. m4 `4 Y0 i/ h `1 Y句子出自纽约时报，是2004年的，文章说的是特朗普申请 “you're fired” 商标结果因为与 “you're hired” 音近的原因被拒绝了的事。
% Z$ P. @9 g3 [4 P4 j* S) m& B0 @7 y“…diminishes the further one gets from…” 和 “…crumble the further one drives from…”，结构还蛮类似的，结果两个句子都看不懂了…… 4 C% @7 B1 {8 X$ V, \& A1 Z: Q
所以特地求教论坛的各位，帮忙答疑解惑，弄明白这里“further”和整个句子的意思 ????! r/ w; V' `6 N9 U3 E5 y3 K- H

不过我还是没明白第二个例句的意思，能否再讲讲呢？这种类型可以在什么语法书上找到吗？
