这句话是否语法有问题？

这个人能回忆起前世曾经是匹马，骑马的人对他不好，他就不吃饭，以至饿死，想就此重新投胎。

这句话中只有一个and，语法不对了吧？

讲故事时，为了体现动作的连续和紧凑，动词是可以连续使用的。

这里的and表示“因此“的意思。动词之间可以不用and

我分析的是，这个是并列句，三个句子并列在了一起，如下所示
（he could stand it no longer）and（ he refused all food）and （three days later her was dead）
由于并列连词相同都是and ,可以只保留最后一个and,前面的and 可以用逗号代替，又由于主语一致，第二个句子的里he 给省略了。
就变成了
At length he could stand it no longer,refused all food,and three days later her was dead.
