1、He did as him list.他高兴怎么做就怎么做。

2、I shall do what him listeth.我将遂其所愿去做。

上面的两处him，难道不应该是he吗？尤其第二句，list都用了第三人称单数了，him居然用的还是宾格，而不是主格，实在费解。

翻了一下此词典2014年第三版的相同词条处，一模一样，未有任何更改。

所列古文圣经，我找到了圣经新国际版相对应的文字，是这样的：

编辑采用那种令人困惑的古英语作为现代英汉词典的例句，的确有点不负责任。修订者一仍其旧，不作更换，这修订的水平也是相当令人怀疑。

% C9 r- H1 ]4 X# c( t& a: a6 v现代英语中最常见的例子是methinks（=it seems to me）。

# {: B' E, S, D+ ?% \5 W比较简单的论述见Manfred Görlach的Introduction to Early Modern English第6.3.4节'Impersonal' verbs，更详细的说法得去查Otto Jespersen的A Modern Grammar on Historical Principles第Ⅲ卷11.2-11.3节。其中前一本就提到了list作为例子。

% j, T/ a8 \5 |8 x1 E一般关于early modern English的专著都会提到，但我现在手头只有这两本。
