0 q! I  U( j+ P! t  }9 e& ^Alfred Offistride was learning to become a watch maker when he lovingly crafted the round, silver pocket watch in 1910 as an 18th birthday present for his brother Louie. The watch was stolen by a Nazi soldier when the brothers, who were Jewish, were arrested during the Second World War and sent to Auschwitz (YES, I BINGED). Neither survived the Holocaust.
