这里我主要对discover后面宾语从句的结构有点懵。我看解析说，ways后面的所有内容是修饰ways的定语从句。那ways在其定语从句中作什么成分？省略的关系词又是什么？

2. It perplexed him because he was tackling it the wrong way.

这里不理解the wrong way作什么成分？像是副词修饰成分“不当地”，但没有任何介词，有这样的用法吗？词典找了半天也没找到。。。

这么翻译是很通顺的，但翻译后的汉语中“意识”后接宾语的是“这些潮流”，而非“方式”。

ways在这里的语义是表“以某种方式怎么怎么样”中的那个“方式”的含义，没有“方面(aspect)”的含义。


these trends are ... 开始皆为定语从句部分，先行词是ways。
这里是way等少数词才有的特殊用法（可以省略in which，而其他先行词不能这样省略）
注意in which中的in是介词（实际应在定语从句中，但是被前置了），which才是定语从句的引导词（即关系代词），在从句中作in的宾语。

/ f* ~+ s* }* \5 d" e; W我没有更多的上下文，就纯根据楼主的句子来分析。“these trends are influencing consumers' aspirations, attitudes, and behaviors”是用来修饰 ways的。什么样的ways呢？在这样的ways里， consumers' aspirations, attitudes, and behaviors are influenced by trends.

& ~1 s  x0 }* m! G至于ways是翻译成 方面 还是 方式，我觉得不重要，大概其能理解句子的意思就好了。

4 _7 D9 q* ]6 E* O; g其实我最近看到的文章都提倡学习英文时要尽量避免想中文，而直接去想对应的场景或意象。因为一旦要拐弯到中文再理解，大脑反应就慢了，就永远无法达到或接近母语者的水平了。

sabrina说的对，如果没有 are，influencing只能理解成修饰 trends的现在分词；那ways和trends这两个名词并列在一起又没有连接词and就很奇怪了。

语法部分的分析赞同，不过就是那个ways的意思，我觉得是方面的意思。楼主更多上下文内容就能判断了。
