不过，感觉这样的话，lead后面应该有 to 才对；但听不出来有 to ...

我赞同 @大橙子所给的版本，"these are these demonstrations" 这段听起来并没有 this 的短元音，而都是 these 的长元音。

btw，这句话没有问题... 比如：https://youglish.com/getcid/17654749/%22these%20are%20these%22

可能就是偷懒图个方便吧，these are these 说起来相对省力，也不那么啰嗦。
试比较：

these are these demonstrations where...
these demonstrations are the demonstrations/ones where...
& Z1 _: }# i8 U8 `+ L. t4 S

似乎可以发现用 these are these 这种说法之时有个规律，说话人或多或少都会用定语从句或其他方式，在后面补充更多的细节。

these are these + n. + that/which/where/....
these are these + n. + V-ing...7 y+ q! T# ^5 G, |5 X
