翻遍手边的词典，“吊打”的英译都是hang up and beat somebody (as punishment)之类的，太过时了。You know what I mean.
: L3 A# \7 D) q7 R我想到的比较形象的对译词是blow out，文体风格和意象都比较接近，例如：
⇒ They've blown out every team they've played this season.
9 {! Z" I. S; ~: }# w7 n! J⇒ The final score was 17-1? Wow, we really blew that team out!
' ^# y2 U8 |0 _+ g2 ^⇒ I have a feeling the top-ranked team is just going to blow out any opponent they face.
