O大，weekday 和 weeknight 在《牛津双解》上都被翻译为“周日”、“周日夜晚”，总觉得不如其他词典说的“工作日”、“工作日夜晚”恰当。
发现一个有趣的事情，在用“全文搜索”搜索关键词“周日”的时候，在《牛津双解 7》上，只有 diurnal, weekday, weeknight 三个词条当中出现“周日”字眼，同样方法搜索“星期日”则对应才是 Sunday；然后我又反向检索了一下“Sunday”发现大多数翻译为“星期日”和“星期天”。
而在《牛津双解 8》当中，检索“周日”增加了 mention, omnibus, ours 这个三个词条，并且当中的 Sunday 被翻译为“周日”。而剩余的大多数仍旧被翻译为“星期日”、“星期天”。
